SPRING 2008 KINDERMUSIK PROGRAM INFORMATION
ALL Classes require a minimum
enrollment of 5 children.
There are 16 weeks of classes in
each semester.
KINDERMUSIK OUR TIME (18 months - 3 years):
Away We Go
16 Weeks/40 minutes
Hop on the train, get in
the car, board the plane, and Away We Go! This delightful unit focuses on
transportation, a favorite topic for toddlers who are on the go, go, go! Move,
play and sing together in developmentally appropriate activities created just
for 1 1/2 to 3 year olds. Supplies include 2 CD’s, a Home Activity Book, 2
storybooks, 2 harmonicas and a train carrying box. This is not a separation
class.
KINDERMUSIK IMAGINE THAT (3 - 4 years):

What's more exciting to a
3 or 4 year old than a new toy? How about an entire Toy Shop full of toys! And a
full toy shop is exactly what your child will enjoy in an exceptional follow-up
to the already highly regarded first unit of the curriculum, See What I Saw.
Toys I Make - Trips I Take is focused on creating a stimulating musical
environment that integrates music, pretend play, story telling movement and
more.
KINDERMUSIK for the YOUNG CHILD (4 - 7 years):
A Two-Year Course
16 weeks/60 minutes
KINDERMUSIK for the YOUNG
CHILD is a 4-semester, total separation program except for the last 5 minutes of
class (which is a parent/child review time). Activities focus on the development
of auditory and singing skills, creative and synchronized movement, listening
skills, and becoming acquainted with a variety of musical instruments. The cost
includes KINDERMUSIK supplies as follows: a KINDERMUSIK Bag (for semester #1
students only), Semester Activities Folder, Glockenspiel (semester #1) or
Dulcimer (semester #3), Games Bag, Family Songbook and a Home CD. NOTE:
Children must do each semester in consecutive order. A Semester #3 student must
have completed semesters #1 (fall) and #2 (spring).
