FALL 2011 KINDERMUSIK PROGRAM INFORMATION
ALL Classes require a minimum
enrollment of 4 children.
There are 15 weeks of classes in
each semester.
KINDERMUSIK OUR TIME
(18 months - 3 years):
"Wiggles & Giggles"
15 weeks/40 minutes
Wiggles and Giggles features songs, activities and literature books surrounding
popular and toddler-exciting themes like bath time, animal movement, and the
love of family and friends. Supplies include Music and Movement Books (2), Home
Activity Book (1), Home CDs (2), Carry Box/Bag, and Zig-Zag Blocks. This is a
total parent/child class.
KINDERMUSIK IMAGINE
THAT (3 - 4 years) "See
What I Saw"
15 weeks/45 minutes
Take your child on an imaginary trip to
Grasshopper Park where they sail down the park slide and then recreate the sound
of that experience with a long vocal glissando. Recreating this experience at
home is a snap with the park play set complete with trees, grass, fence, a lake,
two children, a sailboat and more. Supplies include the Pretend Play
Manipulative component, a Literature Component, a Slide Whistle with Carry Bag,
a Family Activity Book, and Home CDs (2). Parents attend the last 15 minutes of
each class.
KINDERMUSIK
for the YOUNG CHILD (4 - 7 years): A Two-Year Course
15 weeks/60 minutes
KINDERMUSIK for the YOUNG CHILD is a
4-semester, total separation program except for the last 5 minutes of class,
which is a parent/child review time. Activities focus on the development of
auditory and singing voice skills, creative and synchronized movement, listening
skills, and becoming acquainted with a variety of musical instruments. The cost
includes KINDERMUSIK supplies as follows: a KINDERMUSIK Bag (for semester 1
students only), Semester Activities Folder, Glockenspiel (semester 1), or
Dulcimer (semester 3), Games Bag, Family Songbook and a Home CD. NOTE: Children
must do each semester in consecutive order. A Semester 3 student must have
completed semesters 1 (Fall) and 2 (Spring).
