FALL 2010 KINDERMUSIK PROGRAM INFORMATION

ALL Classes require a minimum enrollment of 5 children.
There are 15 weeks of classes in each semester.

KINDERMUSIK OUR TIME (18 months - 3 years):                                       "Milk & Cookies"
15 weeks/40 minutes

Milk & Cookies empowers the parent to lead the child through familiar, everyday home activities such as cooking, dusting and washing clothes. Baking cookies, eating cupcakes, blowing on hot cross buns, wiggling like jelly, going grocery shopping and making tea are all represented in familiar songs and activities! Supplies include Music and Movement Books (2), Home Activity Book (1) Home CD’s (2) and Stir Xylophone. This is a total parent (caregiver)/child class.

KINDERMUSIK IMAGINE THAT (3 - 4 years)              "Hello Weather Let's Play Together"
15 weeks/45 minutes

Hello Weather explores sunshine, rain, snow, thunderstorms and more in this imaginative and delightful weather-related musical adventure. Whether creating storm sounds on a drum or throwing pretend snowballs, children and their families are encouraged to get outdoors and enjoy the world around them. Parents become involved during the last 15 minutes of class. Supplies include Home CD’s (2), Literature Books (2) Activity Play Set (1), Family Activity Book (1) and a set of Ankle Bells.

KINDERMUSIK for the YOUNG CHILD (4 - 7 years):                     A Two-Year Course
15 weeks/60 minutes 

KINDERMUSIK for the YOUNG CHILD is a 4-semester, total separation program except for the last 5 minutes of class, which is a parent/child review time. Activities focus on the development of auditory and singing voice skills, creative and synchronized movement, listening skills, and becoming acquainted with a variety of musical instruments. The cost includes KINDERMUSIK supplies as follows: a KINDERMUSIK Bag (for semester 1 students only), Semester Activities Folder, Glockenspiel (semester 1), or Dulcimer (semester 3), Games Bag, Family Songbook and a Home CD. NOTE: Children must do each semester in consecutive order. A Semester 3 student must have completed semesters 1 (Fall) and 2 (Spring).
